AfroGlobal Travel centers the experiences of Black and Indigenous communities across Latin America. Our programs are rooted in cultural exchange, Spanish immersion, environmental justice, and youth leadership—creating a deeply meaningful and transformative journey.
High school and college students with a passion for travel, culture, and service. We strongly encourage applicants to have completed at least two years of Spanish or have a working knowledge to fully benefit from our immersive setting.
AfroGlobal Travel integrates Spanish language, community engagement, environmental education, and cultural immersion. Participants learn through hands-on projects, site visits, leadership workshops, and reflection activities.
Students are supervised at all times by trained chaperones. Our program includes daily check-ins, curfews, structured schedules, and private WhatsApp groups to maintain consistent communication with families.
We use a secure WhatsApp group to share daily updates, photos, and important announcements. Families receive pre-departure orientations and post-trip reflections.
Students receive community service hours and a program completion certificate. More importantly, they gain global perspective, increased Spanish fluency, leadership skills, and lifelong memories.
Program fees cover airfare, lodging, meals, excursions, ground transportation, insurance, and chaperone supervision. We also offer scholarship and fundraising support to increase accessibility.
